Deadline Extended to July 31, 2008: Latino Task Force of Monroe County 2008 College Scholarship Essay Competition. The $250 scholarship will be awarded on a competitive basis to a Latino/Hispanic student accepted or enrolled full time in an accredited four-year college, university, or community college, who has resided for a minimum of two years in Monroe County, and who has obtained a GPA of 3.0 or greater. The awardee will be selected in August and the scholarship presentation will take place at the group’s annual gala dinner on Saturday, September 20^th at the Chateau Resort & Conference Center, Tannersville, PA.
